About: Let’s be honest, would I be writing a beer blog if I didn’t love (with all my heart and to the death) beer...? Maybe, but I love beer!
I am not, by any means, a beer expert. I am not a harbinger, messenger, conduit sent from the fermented Gods. I am but a mortal man; a man with dreams and emotions, experiencing craft beer.
A few years ago, a friend of mine (let’s call her Yvette) started a ‘100 Beers in One Year’ challenge. Some mainstream beers, mostly craft beer, and a lot of single batch brews so the challenge wasn’t drinking 100 beers (the Untappd app would prove I did that in a month), the real challenge was finding the beers. My partner, Graham, and I found ourselves caught up in the list with her. We travelled Australia from coast to coast (literally), searching and finding, and of course drinking the hoppy gems. Many were found, and consumed in the fabric chairs at Archive. So this led to many visits to Archive, my foray to Armakeggon, the start of some great friendships, my love for this great beer establishment, and my ignited passion and thirst for awesome craft brews.
People who know me are aware that I am a sucker for the sour brews, I love them. Of course, I don’t discriminate. I love beers from both extreme ends in the beer spectrum. However, I’m still learning about beer and trying different beers and styles for the first time. So think of this blog as my journey, an imparting of some wisdom, and a conversation of our very beery opinions.

Let’s drink and blog.
